"We stayed 24-27th September for our tenth anniversary and could not have wished for anywhere more perfect to spend it.  From the warm welcome we received on booking-in to the standard of the lodge (which exceeded our expectations) and the amazing hot-tub and surroundings, everything was just right - a perfect romantic retreat.  We were lucky enough to see the badger one evening and lay in bed watching two Great Spotted Woodpeckers on the tree just outside our window one morning too - Griffon Forest is a real treat for nature-lovers!
We both had a little tear in our eye as we drove away and are already planning a return visit with our children.

"Yet another great time at Griffon Forest, this is our fifth time and we still find lots of new things to see.  Don't change anything the site is just the right size.  We stayed in Lodge 42 which as per usual was just perfect.  We had visits from the Badgers on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights, which was fantastic.  They were so close to the lodge we managed to take photos of them eating.  We also had a fox visit but didn't stay long. Once again thanks to all the staff who look after the lodges and the grounds you do a brilliant job and not forgetting the Admin staff who greet you with a warm welcoming smile.  Thank You All.  See you in January.
