CORONAVIRUS - UPDATE 4th January 2021

Griffon Forest is sadly closed again until further notice. Any voicemails and emails will be checked on a regular basis and responded to as soon as possible. 

At the moment we have no indication as to when we will be able to reopen. As soon as we do we will update the website and our Facebook page. 

 We will be in touch with everyone as soon as we can - please bear with us whilst we do this. If you have booked with Hoseasons they will be contacting you if your booking needs to be altered.

 Balance payments are currently being taken 2 weeks prior to arrival instead of the normal 6 weeks - please be aware this may change in the future.

Our team at Griffon Forest will be working hard to prepare the site and make sure everything is as safe as possible for staff and guests. All customers will be contacted prior to their arrival to discuss the new check in procedure, this is currently arrival between 5pm and 6pm and departure by 9am please. There is strictly no access onto site before the 5pm check in time.

Thank you to all the guests who stayed with us in 2020 and for your patience and understanding regarding our new procedures - we are very much looking forward to seeing you all again in 2021!

FAQ’s

What facilities are still open at Griffon Forest?

 All walks and trails are open and have been maintained during lockdown. Fly fishing is available if you are using your own tackle. We are currently unable to supply bike hire.  Unfortunately the shop will remain closed until further notice. The golf course at Sandburn Hall is available to members and non-members now, a tee time will need to be booked in advance.

Is Tykes restaurant still open?
Tykes restaurant is currently closed. To find out more or to make a future reservation you can call the team on 01904 469911 or book online.

Can I get a supermarket delivery still?
If you are eligible to get supermarket deliveries these can be arranged to come to your lodge. Please book delivery for when you will be in the lodge as we are unable to accept this on your behalf. Please note there will be a new check in procedure - we will be in touch prior to arrival to discuss this.

Will anything affect my stay?
The Government have brought in a four tier system of restrictions in England. If the tier in which you are in advises not to do any unnecessary travel (which would include going on holiday), or you have been in contact with someone with Covid-19 or showing symptoms of Covid-19 or you yourself are showing symptoms of Covid-19 please contact us to discuss your options.
